Affiliated to SDS University Badshahithaul, Tehari Garwal,  Today we are in the 25 years of our journey. The objective of this college is to make education completely student centric. Catching up with global technological progress, we are adapting to the modern teaching media/methods and trying to incorporate the available technology to enhance the learning experience and capturing the minds of the learners. Introduction of various online platform with regular teaching has increased the efficacy of teaching learning process is one positive step forward in this direction. Various web based applications and software had already been used regularly by the teaching faculty to correspond with students.

The college is functioning in accordance of the various assessment parameters set by NAAC pertaining to teaching-learning and evaluation methods, research innovation and extension, infrastructure and learning resources,  student support and progress, Institutional values and best practices etc. The Skill Development Program is also operational in the college to train the youth in various skills in accordance of regional demands and opportunities. This is an ongoing effort to help them become economically self-reliant and enable them to generate their own employment.

Various socio-economic issues and geographical constraints keep many students from obtaining higher education. The college houses a study center for UOU to provide such deprived but meritorious students with an opportunity to study via long-distance mode of teaching mechanism.
